Annual General Meeting
Saturday March 24th
This year's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Saturday March 24th starting at 1:30 pm so mark that day on your calendar and be sure to attend.
The location of the AGM is pending and will be posted on the club's website as soon as it is confirmed.

Board of Directors Nominations
In preparation for the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for Saturday March 24th the Board wishes to invite all members to consider standing for election to the 2007/2008 Board of Directors.
All members in good standing are eligible. The Board consists of seven members elected annually at the AGM. The Executive (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer) is made up of Board members and is elected by the Board at the its first meeting.
Anyone wishing to become active in the governing of the Borden Flying Club needs only to nominate themselves at or before the AGM. The Board meets every six weeks or so. Members are asked to assume responsibility for some aspect of Club management according to their skills and knowledge.
Please seriously consider putting your name forward for election to the Board. To ensure a healthy and vigorous club we require a full slate of candidates.

Trans-Atlantic Aircraft Delivery

This trip took place in December 2006. In general, the weather was fair and the greatest concern was the strength and direction of the Polar jetstream.
Refueling took place at Reykjavik, Iceland and Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada. Iqaluit is located at the Arctic Circle and is formerly known as Frobisher Bay, Northwest
Territories, Canada.
