The Borden Flying Club & COPA Flight 84 in cooperation with Edenvale Aerodrome is one of 14 participating airports in the 2008 staging of the Platinum Triangle Poker Run.
This year's poker run is being held on Saturday August 23rd with August 24th as a rain date. Participants may fly their poker hand to any of the participating airports anytime between 10 am & 3 pm daily beginning on Monday August 18th.
Each hand must receive a stamp from five different participating aerodromes. The aerodrome where you purchased your hand, in our case Edenvale, and the terminus aerodrome, Kincardine, count as two of the five. The hand must be flown to any other 3 of the other participating aerodromes. All hands must be handed in at the terminus - Kindardine (CNS7) - by 3 pm on Saturday August 23rd.
You can purchase your poker hand from any participating airport any day from August 18th to the 23rd between 10 am & 3 pm or better yet order your poker hands in advance.
When ordering poker hands in advance you have the option to have them mailed to you or to have a member of the Borden Flying Club fly them for you. If you wish to support general aviation, the participating airports and the Royal Canadian Air Cadets consider buying one or more poker hands and have one of our club pilots fly the hand for you. If your hand wins we will arrange to get your prize to you.
This is a great way to lend your support even if you are unable to fly the hand yourself.
All proceeds from this year's poker run will be going to support the Royal Canadian Air Cadets

If you are available for a couple of hours any of those days we please sign up.
